The Founder Of Southern Eco-Scapes
Southern Eco-Scapes was started in Gray, GA by Tommy Thornton. Tommy had a passion for horticulture long before the inception of what is now his main business and career path. He has been in the landscape and agriculture industry since 2008 when he opened Southern Eco-Scapes. Tommy had the privilege of growing up ‘on the farm’ in Gray, Georgia. Given his knowledge and active role in agriculture so early in life guaranteed him that he would always be a steward for the environment.

Southern Eco landscaping is a very professional operation. They do everything you need to keep your yard looking great. They mow, edge, blow, spray for weeds and fertilize. They will even spray your bushes for diseases. One stop shopping!

Southern Eco-Scapes assessed our yard drainage problems. They effectively recommended multiple solutions to: protect our home from rain run off, minimize soil erosion, protect existing plantings and plan for future landscape improvements. Their team did an incredible job installing French drains, underground piping from downspouts and a drain field to collect run-off. Their work was extremely well done. Their prices were so affordable. Their crew went above and beyond on details such as shovel digging as needed to protect existing shrubbery, sloping and leveling soil and clean-up. You just can't find that level of quality at their prices. We will call them again for our next landscaping project. They even were capable of making changes on the fly to totally customize our project and accommodate our needs. Amazing. Their manager Tommy Thornton provided a very thorough and academic pre-diagnosis of our landscaping needs before they began. His approach was steeped in knowledge of flora, land and water dynamics, experience, tool and equipment know-how and common sense. He is an excellent listener and very organized. Mr. Thornton and his team did exactly what they said they would do on everything from the assessment, estimate, work and timing. Totally professional and impressive.
